Halloween Spa Social Details
Sisterhood Element: Time to share resources ladies. Haven’t had time to paint your nails a pretty color because you’ve been working so hard? Is your skin in need of some moisturizer but you just don’t know what product out there works? How about pampering each other ladies! Each sister will be encouraged to bring one of her favorite beauty products that she is willing to share with other sisters (nothing too expensive of course). So bring out the apricot scrub, your favorite aromatherapy foot lotion, that clay facial mask that keeps your skin soft, and lets start sharing some relaxation pointers.
Community Service Element: At this meeting, we will also be collecting donations for Dress for Success – a national non-profit organization with locations in Orlando, Tampa, and Miami. Dress for Success provides professional clothing for needy woman who are trying to get back into the workforce, but need the right clothing to score the interview. Have a blazer that fits you a bit snug? Got some old shirts, skirts, or slacks you can hand down? It all goes to a worthy cause. Women helping Women! | “It Takes a Village” Thanksgiving Meeting Details Meeting Info Sisterhood Element: By now this is your second fun-filled Lambda Alpha meeting and in an effort to get to know one another better what better way to ring in the Thanksgiving season, than by sharing with sisters some of the things you’re thankful for this year – whether it’s a photo from your wedding collection, or a souvenier from your exotic vacation. Come out and share with sisters what you’re thankful for. We’ll also make this into an informal potluck. Want to share the recipe for your favorite sidedish or dessert? How ‘bout bringing a sampling so we can all try? Can’t cook? No worries how about sharing one of your favorite store bought treats? Community Service Element: As successful Lambda Lady alums, we sure have a lot to be thankful for. So why not share the wealth during the Thanksgiving holiday? We would like to make this into a competition of sorts to see which city can collect the most amount of monetary donations to buy turkey dinners for local needy families. | December 1, 2007

Sisterhood Element: We did it as undergrads, why not revisit the fun past -time of getting to spoil a fellow sister through little notes, and gifts? | March Madness Meeting Details to Come
Sisterhood Element: You gotta love March. It means that Spring is in full bloom and St. Patty’s Day is just around the corner. In honor of this meeting, let’s host a potluck where the requirement is anything you bring in has to be green. It could be Salad, pesto pasta, green cupcakes, but should make for an interesting eat.
Professional/Personal Development Element: Speaking of Green. Do you have questions about finances? How should you manage your money? What’s the best way to invest? How can you improve your credit score. Local experts will be at our meeting and answer some of those green related questions. Is financial planning your forte? Would you like to be our guest speaker? Let us know. President@LtaLambdaAlpha.com Community Service Element: While we are eating our greens, how about raising some green cash for the LTA Pave the Way Foundation by sending donations? The Pave the Way Foundation, is LTA’s philanthropic venture that has given scholarship money for sisters, and assistance for cultural programs. So lets pitch in sisters!

| “Lambda Lady Spring Training” Details to Come
Sisterhood Element: Baseball players aren’t the only ones headed to Spring Training Camp. Join us for Lambda Lady Spring Training. Where we share with one another pointers on how to be healthier ladies in mind, body, and soul. With the summer beach bathing suit season coming up maybe some sisters want to share which diets and eating habits have worked best for them. Maybe you’re not so much concerned with your body, but want pointers on healthy recipes you can prepare for family and friends. It would be great if we could get a nutritionist or a personal fitness expert, yoga instructor, etc. from each of our areas to present at this meeting. Maybe we already have sisters who are experts in this field? Community Service Element: Any suggestions? | “LTA Beach Day!” Details to Come
Sisterhood Element: After a great year of work, lets unwind the Florida Lambda Lady way… by the beach! We would like to organize a statewide LTA Alumnae Beach Weekend somewhere along the west coast of Florida (Clearwater, St. Pete Beach, Sarasota etc.) where it wouldn’t be too far a drive for sisters coming in from South Florida, Orlando, or G-ville. Sisters would be invited to bring their children and spouses as well. | | June | LTA National Convention in Washington D.C.
